I also belong to a north Florida forum and they have shot me with the move up here bug again. The hunting is 50 times greater up there.I'm going to scout / turkey hunt up there on my spring break.

I'm off now, but I worked all night. It was worth it though -- very little to do because the drunks stayed inside because it's been sooooo cold - that and I was getting paid overtime to do it! I'm off until Weds night now and we're expecting a major warm-up here - it may actually get above freezing!
Florida has some great turkey hunting. There's a thread right now in the turkey forum about turkey hunting in Gainesville. Our season won't open until April 18th, so I've scheduled leave for the first week of the season to spend in the mountains of western MD.

I went fishing last Friday.. It was 22 degrees when we hit the water.. The boat ride was hard. I got in a cove and I was throwing a road runner that became a top water jig, some parts the water was frozen... .. The fish were smarter than us, they didn't get out of bed.. Caught four fish all day long..burrrr....
