Ok, I travel alot for a living. I left on Thurs to go to Atlanta to work that night. Well yesterday, 10min after take off, all is well, even upgraded to first class for $40 dollars. All the sudden the plane dives down about 3K feet, and then swerves to the right at a 50 degree angle, and then to the left at 45 degree angle. I was levitating off seat we went down so quick and myfeet were off the ground. I heard the engines sound like they stalled out. I could hear drinks flying all over the place and heard a few people squilling in the back.
I look out my window and see a leer jet about 600 yards away. The captain came on, and said the collision avoidance system kicked in and some small plane was in the wrong airspace. Right off the bat when we dropped like a hammer, I started praying heavy. I really thought this was it. Afterwards, I looked at the guy beside me, and something told me to witness to him after that. Well, I didn't I am ashamed to say.
Few things in retrospec. I am glad, the first thing I thought about was God and meeting my maker and asking him to bring me home. Second thing, I should have mentioned something about God to the guy beside me.
I have been traveling for 12 years. Been on hundreds of flights. Seen turbulance that popped the bins open over the rockys but have yet to have a collision alarm go off. The plane was far away, I think they overreacted. Maybe it swerved too.
WOW!!That would have freaked me out. You will have more opportunitiesto witness. Just take a deep breath and know that God has already prepared the man's heart..#2 Know that as soon as you confess Him before others..He is confessing Mark before His Father and the angels.
Don't worry about the right words..."I will tell you what to speak in that hour." said Jesus.
