Default a new wakening part 2

I am getting these wakenings again its werid. My drinking has gone way down. My swearing seems to have gone down. I always seem to have a calm feeling with me all the time. Everything in my life just let God lead the way. If it doesnt happen God knows best. The stuff I hear or see that isevil I cant seem to enjoy it has much. I am almost to the point that I just to get down on my knees and praise him. This other feeling I have had for some time. Jesus died on the cross to save us. I question why do sinful things. This manloves us and sacrificed his life for us. The way that I look at it now. Yes we may be suffering here on earth. HopefullythatI get to heaven there will be no more suffering.

Sounds good Fred...
Looks like God is working in your heart to me.
c7

I remember I started out like that. ...but when it came ot quit smoking cigerettes I couldn't quit. Finally , I gave them to God too. I was in the service when God began working on my heart. Right off the bat I thought it strange how many people used God's name in vain. I'd never picked up on it before. When God began drawing me to himself..it was like a microphone blasting. I would run off into th ewoods and pray when I heard they talk like that.

Teh best thing Fred...mopr ethan any other.keep reading that Word. The Word is what changes us.

God bless,
C7

Doesn't appear....sanctification is a process. I know cigerettes took me a while . Some people have taken a real long time trying to overcome watching worldly TV shows and over eatting.

yeah, I just know that you cannot have a "litte bit" of your vices/demons and make it really work

an alcohoilc has a very hard time drinking a little and staying sober, a cig smoker can't smoke just one every few days and really "quit", a drug user can't getr a fix every now and then and stay clean etc etc

Buster ..you and i are in agreement on this one.
The scripture says.."Know ye not that a little leaven ..leaveneth the whole lump."..

and you are right..they can be serious strongholds are avenues for demonic activity..

Isn't that the truth. It went from not even noticing to being worse then fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

i dont think i could give up alcohol up for ever. I dont see anything wrong with have a few drinks from time to time. My plan is to try and give it up for lent. St.patricks day may be a problem may have to drink a few then. Other then that day dont plan on drinking any the wholelent season.
