RE: sick people
Yes you are correct in saying these people are sick. But, they need Christ love and forgiveness just like we do. Humanity tends to put certain degrees on certain sins, but the scriptures are clear that a simple sin and a "big" sin does the same thing. They separate us from the one and only holy God. I can speak with confidience on this subject b/c my family has been affected in several ways by "this" sin. I was a victim twice as a child. I have two relatives whom were victims and one is now an offender. However, he is now a devote christian and is sold out for Jesus Christ and has turn his life around. He still struggles with what was done to him and what he did, but he is a sinner saved by the grace of God just like all of us are.
Our society looks at predators and say they are the worst out there and there is a special place in hell for them. However, the Bible doesn't say this. It says we are all sinners and wether we are in hell for stealing a dollar or killed and rapped someone doesn't matter. The torture and experience of hell is the same for both.
We must remember to pray for these people b/c it comes down to spiritual warfare and satan is using everything he can to take as many people with him to hell. My view is we must always love the sinner and always hate the sin. This doesn't mean there shouldn't be any punishment for certain sins in this physical world. The Bible has several examples of reaping what was sown even after forgiveness as given.
