trusting in God

I try and trust in God but there are times when its hard. I have been prayign for God to send me a nice girl. The other day I thought maybe he just did. I think this girl is playing me now.

Dude, you're rushing this thing. Ever heard this saying: "just let go, and let God"?

There's no doubt the Lord sent my wife to me. At a very crucial time in my life I might add. Just had started college. It took a few years of dating to "weed out" the culls. He did that for me.

Remember, things will happen in the Lords time, not yours. You need to stop worrying about it and just enjoy life and let the Lord do the driving. Trying to rush things, and do it your way can make for a disasterous finish to the work God has started.

JUst try to relax, and pray for patience.

Fred,
I seriously don't believe any of us totally trust God ..why ..because if we did ,we would never sin. Sin is the act of unbelief..I will tell you that God has been working in my life in the area of trust as well. This I 've learned as well as what Jesus instructed us in Matthew 6:33... take one day at a time. Start your day with prayer and the Word and strive to obey God in the small things. No matter how small ..it pleases God when you are putting your faith to obedience.

its not all about this girl. i find it hard some times to trust in god. hey did have a prayer answered today i was so happy.
