Good morning to you all and i hope you are having a great day.. here it is the first week in Feb. time sure has a way of slipping by doesn't it? as most of you have seen or read about the terrible storms we had here in central Florida where at least nineteen have lost there lives and many injured and millions of dollars of damage..please remember these in your prayers..
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for sparing us and our two daughters from the tornados..I pray for those who lost loved ones and others who lost their homes and all they had..Father we don't always understand why these things happen but we do know that you have a reason and in your word you say, " All things work for good to those who love God, and are called according to his purpose." and you also said," my grace is sufficient for all our needs." so we take solace in these Words during this trying time.. we thank you and love you and i pray in Jesus name and for his sake, Amen...
here is poem that i think we should seriously consider in these times..
If tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not there to see
sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready, In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind; All those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye
For all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, So much left yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible, That I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays, The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared, And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you And maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized, That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories, Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, My heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity, And all I've promised you."
Today your life on earth is past, But here life starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way, There's no longing for the past.
You have been so faithful, So trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things, You knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven, and now at last you're free.
So won't you come and take my hand, and share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart. After reading this, and thinking about the storms, so many things came to my mind that i should do..I should tell my wife more often that i love her and to thank her for those 56 years she has been married to me.. i need to visit my children more often and express my love and appreciation for them..and then there are my dear friends, some i haven't seen since child hood, that i need to drop a card too, or give a call just to say i am thinking of you and i love you..and to my cyber space friends, what a joy it has been over the past several years to talk to you all and i want to tell you now, i love all of you guys and you are in my prayers everyday..and most of all i need to praise my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ forhis deathon that old rugged cross that i and all who put their trust in Him might live for all eternity together in that wonderful place, Heaven..we serve a wonderful Saviour amen?
as i look back over the almost 78 years God has given me,I see so many missed opportunities to serve him..I have often said, if i had realized how much God loved me how much more i could have done in my younger years..one day soon, tomorrow will not come for me and i might say i am looking forward to that going home day, and it is my prayer that that something i have said or done has made a difference in somebody's life..
Father we thank you for your Word that brings comfort and peace to us when these storms hit and yes Father , you are there when the storms of life hit us unexpected..help us to glean from this what you would have us to see and we will thank you for all you have done and what you will do if we just put our trust in you..and i pray that if there is one here who is lost and without hope that this will be the day of their salvation..in Jesus precious name i pray, Amen..
Christ our Redeemer died on the cross,
Died for the sinner, paid all his due.
Sprinkle your soul with the blood of the Lamb
And I Will pass, will pass over you.
Refrain
When I see the blood,
When I see the blood,
When I see the blood,
I will pass, I will pass over you.
Chiefest of sinners, Jesus will save;
All He has promised, so He will do;
Wash in the fountain opened for sin,
And I Will pass, will pass over you.
RefrainJudgment is coming, all will be there.
Each on receiving, justly his due
Hide in the saving, sin cleansing blood,
And I Will pass, will pass over you.
Refrain
.
O great compassion! O boundless love! O loving kindness, faithful and true!
Find peace and shelter under the blood,
All who believe are safe from the storm, And I will pass, will pass over you.
Refrain

Live Life in such a way that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him because they know you
Thank you brother Wayne. This poem brought memories of my late wife Nancy and how I miss her so much. The thirty short years we shared together flew by like a shooting star. Thanks for reminding us how fragile and fleeting life really is. Thanks again, God bless you. Bob Jankowski <><
Motor, or Wayne I should say--thanks for that reminder. I am 51, and you are 78. My Dad was the same age when he passed away in September. I am constantly aware of missed oppurtunities that I could have spent with my Dad, and in spite of all I did, it seems that the omissions stand out the most. Just so you know, you can rest assured that you have provided much on here, and that your presence here has been felt, and I expect it to be felt a good bit longer. Thank you for what you mean and what you give here. You are loved as well. I don't know about you guys, but it seems that I do know many of you even though technicaly we have never met. It seems as if many of the people that we see every day in persondon't have the same level of communication as is on here. That is a shame--on me.
