Default god micro manages?

I have heard a few people God doesnt mico manage our lives. What is he really in control of? I have prayed for somethings like. The other day I wanted this job never got the job. Prayed that I would do well on a test end up failing it. I believe everthing happens for a reason. That would sort of not fall in line God doesnt micro manage us.

And yes, I beleive in micro managing big time ...

Proverbs 3 : 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I believe God has another place for you to work, and He may be telling you, you need to study more.

Mt 10:30 - But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

If he knows how many hairs are on your head, why shouldn't He care about every area of your life.

nowhere do I read where God allows happenstance.... everything is in order...and ordered...every breath...every obsticle...evry Blessing.... every trial....every day ALL according to THE Plan He set in motion @ the Beginning. God is active in everyones' life..everyday....we fail to acknowledge it, that's all.

Amen Brian..and this is why we can trust God. Lately, the trials have been rolling in. My wife is.. and was freaking out all night....but I'm "Looking toward the hills from whence cometh my help, my help comes from the maker of Heaven and earth." As Habukuk said with God's inspiration." "Though the fig tree blossum or not , though there be no cattle in the stall, yet will I rejoice in the God of my salvaton."
Praise The Lord!!!

ps..the trial is our son. He just got kicked out of another after day program. I also had to deal with the school librarian for not letting my student sign out a book out..little stuff like that but hatred is very nasty. I try to be at peace with all men BUT don't mess with my kids or students. I'm theirshepherd at school.

The problem is that most of us think we know what is best for our lives and therefore when we pray for something and it doesn't happen we feel that God doesn't hear, isn't listening, or doesn't care for what we NEED.

But the fact of the matter is, God knows and sees all. That very thing that we think we NEED, may be the very thing that destroys us or takes us further away from Him and He doesn't want that and therefore doesn't allow it to happen.

We have to understand that we rarely, if ever, know what is best for us.

I'm not much of a country music lover but one song that I do remember and like very much is the one by Garth Brooks that says "I thank God for unaswered prayers".

I can honestly look back at my life and praise the Lord almighty that He didn't answer some of the prayers I had because the life I have now is more blessed then I could imagine and it gets more wonderful all the time. Not that it isn't without trials, but I know where I'm supposed to be and I have Him to guide and direct.

So yes, I believe God is working in our lives all the time. Just not always the way WE think He should. And praise God for that.

I try and let God god control me. its hard sometimes espically with school and looking for a job. I get out of school at the end of the day I am just brunt out. I go home and have a few to drink. I may smoke a few cigs during the week to let the stress go away. enough with school. everything happens for reason. this is a good verse.
Proverbs 3 : 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
