Most of my life I have fought envy and greed. As I get older it seems to get worse. I can remember as a young kid I dreamed of expanding our farming operation. To this day I still want to. I want to be like the big farmers and farm 1000's of acres.I have come the conclusion it probably wont happen and I should be happy with what I have.
Lately I have been applying for jobs. I see some of these small companies that I am applying for. I would really like to start my own company one day. To be truthful I dont see myself starting a companyplus I am afraid of failing. The reasons I want to start my own company is for the money, power, and own boss. If I dont own my own company I want to work my way up the company ladder. My goal one day is to be the manger/boss. It really hurts I go though alot of days wanting that power of contol over people in a working enviroment. To explain it better we do have some land. I am out there farming I look across the field I say to myself this is all mine. I am thankful that it is all mine. When you go to work you are working for someone else. Its not yours its the company you work for. I just dont like this feeling I am having right now. I am very envy and greedy.

I see no problem with your goals. Some folks are leaders. You must be one. I don'y have those goals but God can use wealthy business man. I've never liked being a leader. We are all different and there are some very generous business men in God's kingdom.
My goal is to be a great teacher, a mature Christian get a deer next year from the Green Swamp and get a bass this year at least 10 pounds. That is it . My immediate goal is to put a smile on my wife's face. She is bummed out.

the only way an old saying becomes the truth is with the test of time, like i have mentioned before, i wish i had known my Grandfather a whole lot bettter, cause the man knew what life was about, times may change but standards will always be there, stick to them and it is amazing

I'll be straight with ya, I think your grandpa must have wore off on you more than ya think. You are very mature in the Lord. I've kept my eye on you since I've been here. You do very well at staying out of conflicts. I'd count it a real joy to go fishing with ya or sit in a restaurant with ya for a while. Your a very good man. I've actually learned aot from your example and if youv'e noticed..I've been trying to advoid controvercy too.I've picked that up from you.
I think your grandpa must have wore off on you more than ya think.
i hope so, i am just finding out that he was one of the smartest men i have ever known, just wish i'd been a little more receptive in the early years if ya know what i mean, but i have also found that some of my hardest lesson are the ones i remember the best.
one last thing, i always appriciate the wisdom and knowledge i get here, ya'll just don't know what i have taken from here, i hope one day i can put back 1/4 of what i have learned from ya'll. from my first post here till now i cannot fathom the belief and trust you guys have gone thru, you people have truelyinspiered me,i wont mention names at the fear of not metioning someone, besides thati have learned and taken a little bit from everyoneand for that i thank God...
