RE: Was Jesus a Pharisee
Jesus wasn't a Pharisee but he most closely resembled them. The Pharisee's were poor and Jesus was. But to be a Pharisee (at least a member or training member of the Sanhedrin) you had to be married. Jesus wasn't married as far as we can tell.
He had no need to be because he had the fullness of relationship with God the Father and didn't need to seek that in a wife.
However, I guess it could be pointed out that Jesus road the Pharisee's hard on their beliefs. It's easier to criticize something when you are a part of it, or know it well. Of course, being poor, Jesus dealt with the Pharisees more than the Saducees I would figure since they were mostly upper class, pro-Rome, aristocratic type people.
Jesus's teachings were pure and holy. They didn't line up with any school of Jewish thought.
