Default The Bible Jesus Read

The book 'The Bible Jesus Read' by Philip Yancey, is probably the best book I have ever read. I strongly suggest anyone out there to read it, as it has given me a new kind of love for God, one that I didnt know existed. If anyone out there has read it, thoughts??

"The Old Testament is God's biography, the story of his passionate encounters with people and also a prequel to the story of Jesus. This book explores the sometimes shocking and cryptic writings in an effort to know God better."

I haven't read that one yet, but I have read a couploe others by Yancey. I like his approach, and his objectivity.

So, I guess you only read the "old testament" and nothing else. I have noticed you only answer in scriptures often and never reveil what you believe about a topic in order to make yourself look holy. Interesting, very interesting.

My wife has been reading this book and says it's very good. Maybe I'll try to read it when she's done.
