I have always wondered why some people are more successful then others? Being rich, having alot of materialized things. I know the bible teaches us these things arent important. I have heard that people with alot of money and materialized things is the work of the deveil.

It is the "love of money" that is the root of all evil. Not money itself.
Just b/c someone has a lot of material possessions doesn't really mean they're living a sinful lifestyle. It's when those possessions come B4 God when the problems start rising. (love of money, idolatry, etc) Yes, money and material things CAN become false Gods.

I have heard that people with alot of money and materialized things is the work of the deveil. It surely can be. Jesus said ,"It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into th eKingdom of God." The rich are charged with "Be ready to distribute. In America we are all pretty rich compared to many other countries. As Christians we are to be good stewards over what God has entrusted us with.
Job also was a rich man... it saved him from nothing, and actually CAUSED his grief...but Job wasn't about money...he only sought a relationship with God, and whatever went with that was ok by him....besides....he got re-embursed. However, we should remember that 99.9% of us aren't Job,and will never be...tho we must strive to achieve hisdepth of personal closeness to God... will God bless with $$...yes... Satan will tempt with it once you have it,too !!
Being rich is relative... To an average person in 90% of the world practically everyone in America is rich and well off. That's because they live in a poverty level benath America's poverty level.
Beein poor is realtive... When I was growing up man I had the most fun, playing with my other 5 brothers and sisters, exploring the woods, making stuff. It wasn't until I got to 4th grade and someone told me I was poor did I know what being poor was.
I know its all about supply and demand. I would like to have a tropical island some where. Probably never will. Live in a big nice house. The onces people wonder what does he do for living? Drive a new car about every year. Go on trips all the time. Have my own plane. Have sereral houses. My life is pretty good now. I have alot of things. I would like to have more. I question why God blesses some people with talents like being actor, singer, CEO, ect. While I am just a farm boy from Indiana.

That is why you must feel fortunate with what you DO have, I am bad about taking things for granted, as we all are at times, it could be worse, we could be living in Africa, in the midst of a civil war, with nowhere to go or hide. You must learn to appreciate what you have, and to appreciate the ones around you who care for you. God isn't leaving you out, he gave us free will, so that we can make whatever we want out of our life. All those people you mentioned, actors, singers, CEO's, they didn't just wake up one morning and become those things, they worked for it. You can't go through life, wanting everything, because you arn't gonna get it, you just have to live with what you have, and be proud of it. And deer, please forgive me for comments i have made about you earlier.

Not necessarily. Christians CAN be rich if God so desires.
Having said that, Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle that for a rich man to get saved. That's because many rich people don't see the need for God in their lives since they can buy their way out of most things. For that reason, many rich people never accept Christ's free offer of salvation. It may have been either David or Soloman that said, give me neither riches nor poverty since, if he was well off, he might not feel so dependant on the Lord.
The rich can be Christians - I know a few of them, but it's more difficult to rely on the Lord when you think you've got the world by the tail.

I don't believe God micro-manages. Wealth (money) destroys people faster than anything else.
If you here a preacher telling the congregation that God wants you to be wealthy, to have money, to have grand things ....... be very wary of that man because IMO he isn't preaching what the Bible says.
To my knowledge, God only gives us one thing - Christ, and the ability through him to be an eternal soul with God. Nothing else is given in life
