I am off to South Texas (Corpus Christi) again, I'll be leaveing early Sunday morning. I wish I were going hunting but it's work. I should be back by the end of next week. The computer a the hotel where I stay will not allow me to go on this forum... I guess it got wind of Bill .. But for what ever reason, I can't get on here.

Rev, I was stationed in Corpus in 1959. Under the Bridge on the Coast Guard Intercoastal Waterway Buoy Yard.I was on the CG Buoy Tender "Primrose". The other ship wasa Pile Driver, the"Myrtle". We tended all the intercoastal buoys thru Aransas Pass, Padre Island, Kings Ranch, Port Oconnor, Port Author,etc,etc,etc.

For R&R we woulddock atBrownsville Life Boat Station and thento Matamoros, Mexico! Man, we sure could have useda Chaplin there!
