You have two Guys A and B. Each believe in God and Jesus died for him. Now there is alittle difference between the two. Guy A goes to church all the time, has read the bible front to back and back to front, etc. Then Guy B well he goes to church sometimes, knows of the bible.I know one can really answer this question. How Will God judge Guy B? Yes he knows where each Guys heart is. We see this every day some people are super religious while others arent.

Thats a tough one to answer. First of all we don't know how God is going to judge each of them. We don't know their motives, or what is in their hearts. Going to church doesn't make you anymore a Christian than walking into MC Donald's makes you a Big Mac. One may be staying home on Sunday to go feed the hungry at the mission. Fred that is one I believe you are going to have to ask God.
Also let me put it to you this way, and it may be hard for you to understand as you don't have children yet. Let's say I have two sons. One does everything I ask of him, and he is an excellent child. While the other one, is out of control, and rarely does anything I ask him. Which one am I going to love more? Well, I have this situation, and guess what, I love them each the same. I am real proud of the one and brag on him a lot, while I love the other the same, I feel real sorry for him, and do more for him than I do the one that is the excellent child.
First off, I don't believe going to church is going to get you to heaven. Going to church helps you to be around believers and helps build your faith. It helps you to be around blessed people, and blessing can splash out on you. If one truely believes, he is going to pick up that Bible and read it. He wants to understand and know the information. Jesus Christ gave one command thats in all gospels. And thats to go out and make diciples and spread the good news. How can you spread the good news if you don't know it?
Some of the worst people in the world has become the most faithful. And some of the ones that put up a front has really shown us how little faith they really had. First come faith in God. Every little extra step of faith, God will reveal more and more about himself. The Bible will make more and more sense.
Remember the parable where Jesus explained about 3 servants and investments were given to each. Much is expected to much that has been given.

Fred ..there is a scripture that says.."man looketh on the outward appearance but God looketh at the heart." He said this when choosing David to be king. David had some tall handsome brothers and a prophet was sent to Jesse's house to pick one ofthe sons as king. The prophet looked at the tall strong, handsome sons and said "Is there not one more son." Oh yeah ..there 's David out there tending the sheep." "Get him the prophet said.."For man looketh on the outward appearance but God looketh at the heart." and David was annointed king of Israel and did mighty things for God.
