There are times I have wondered is God or me. Say you are going on a trip or something. There have been times that says dont go but everything turns out okay in the end.

Only the True Believers are lead by God. A child of satan may claim that his good health, wealth, business success, and so forth is of God, but Scripture is clear that satan is control of their walk.

The True Believer is lead by the will of God, while the child of satan is lead by satan.

Any move that is motivated by fear or anxiety is not from God but by satan.

I know when I got married last year, I kept having these fears that I shouldn't get married, and we have alot of problems and all I do is take care of her, on and on. But one day while mad at her, its almost like God was talking to me, saying, "take care of the girl, because one day you will need her to take care of you.". It was very powerful. Satan loves to use anxiety and fear. Disappointment seems also like a powerful tool of his.

Great post my brother. none of us can give an absolute on this question. "For faith that is seen is not seen." The Word tells us things to do topromote fellowship with God in your heart. It seems to me when we are doing these things it may be a little bit easier to discern the voices in your mind. Here are some things to promote sensitivity to God's Spirit...
READ ALOT OF HIS WORD
PRAY DAILY
WALK IN LOVE AND FORGIVE EVERYONE
BLESS OTHERS especially those who can't pay you back.
Once in a while go on a 2 to 3 day fast.
SHUT YOUR MOUTH ALL DAY and just listen..this is one of my favorites.


For me...the only time I was absolutely sure was when I fasted {Water only} for 6 1/2 days. My mind was clear. The Lord led me to witness in a nearby trailor park. NO ONE slammed the door on me. By my surprize they opened their hearts to me. It was an awesome experince.

Weh I was in need of a job I fasted and prayed and sent out 15 resumes. 14 turned me down. Number 15 interviewed me. He told me to come by Monday and he may have a job for me working with handicapped children. my wife and I were excited. On the way there I sensed God telling me to lift up my hand and praise Him for my job. I did all of that. I was in serious joy. When I got to the school office the lady said." I'm so sorry, he has hired another young man." Now at this time in our lives we were dirt poor. I was making 5.00 an hour as a maintenance man at a home for handicapped children. The ole devil immediately put thoughs in my mind like..whoops..somebody missed God. LOL....

Instead..I said Lord I don't understand and I love you anyway..and I praised Him all the way home. When I got home my wife was crying on the mobile home steps. She said ..you got the job. the lady called back she had made a mistake.You are to report to work next week.

God works in mysterious ways my dear brother. I still can't 100% discern his voice or know his ways. BUT...the scriptures tell us that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter as the days go by. 1 COritnthians 13 says we see through a glass dimmly. We live by faith my friend. Calling those theys that are not as though they are. Trusting God against all odds.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord... He directs our paths daily. Nothing is by coincidence nor accident. There is a legitamit reason for everything. We may not know or understand it ever but that doesn't take away from the one in control.

Maybe that is a spiritual gift you have that allows you to use discernment (for example) and to be cautious that day. ???

And there are many whom think they are "TRUE BELIEVERS." Hmmmmmmm

I dont really now if I agree with being scared or have anxiety as being a sign its not from God.
