Default unanswer prayers

Many of us have prayed for things and havent gotten what we want. The reasons God knows whats best for us. I prayed that I would get this job. I really needa jobbadly. The people that I talked with seemed really nice and the interview went well. I questioned why didnt I get the job besides the fact I wasnt the person they were looking for.

Thank Him for ALL the unanswered prayers man!

Besides, who says He doesn't answer them? I honestly believe He does, it's just not always the way we'd like. He does know what's best for us afterall!

You make Him out to be like Santa Clause. I don't recall anywhere in the Bible that He is a vending machine God. He grants to us only those things that are in His will. First we must align ourselves with His will, and then those things requested will be made manifest.
We must remember that each promise from God, come with a stipulation. Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of heaven and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Another excellent post brother Fred. I recall reading something similiar from King David in Psalms. I wondered myself this year. I scouted the best I knew how, I had my shot groups real good and I thought I was nearly scent free. I prayed God would bless my hunts. Well , I struck out. On the way home I thanked Him anyways. God is most interested in our hearts/ atitudes.. In times like these is where our faith is truly tried.

Summary, lift up your arms that hang and lift up your hands to the Lord and thank Him anyway. He knows what is best for you. I got hired ..but only after I was turned down by at least 20 other schools. Keep the resumes out there and I will also remember you in my prayers. By the way..I prayed for you this morning my friend.

Hey Fred,

If you have really put your trust in the Lord, concerning this matter, then you need to have the faith that this job was not what he wanted you to have. He may have something better in mind for you, or there may have been something about this job that He did not want you to experience. There may be some one or several people there who would have been a stumbling block to you in your walk with Him. We don't know why things go the way they do, sometimes, but that is why Faith is so important. We just have to know that if we are truely seeking God, then He is just and always faithful to us. So your not getting this job may be a blessing, when aligned with other requests and prayers you have asked for His help with.

So just praise Him, and continue to seek Him and His will. He will always do what is best for you.

See Jeremiah 29 : 11-13.

God Bless you brother.

Thanks I figured had to be a reason why I didnt get the job. This was one of the first companies that I ever went into a interview with. I so thought I had the job. I am still in school right now, living at home with the parents. I just want a "real job" so I can start making money and get some expeience in my field which is mechanical engineering. also getting tried of feeling like a loser by not having a professinal job. I have a job its part time working for the family farm.
