Tell me how your church reacts when homosexual couple want to come and join in the praise and worship and sermon of your Sunday morning service.

This is a two part topic, I had a very ...... interesting ....... church group meeting last night that ended on a sour note and its because of this topic. Please just tell me what your churchs do when homosexual couples want to come to Sunday morning service. I'll post the other part in the morning, and then I'll tell ya'll what happened with my church meeting this week (which isn't over, still escalating/happening today)

Probably the same way we would treat two child molesters, two murders, two lairs, two adulterers, two drunks, two that lust after women, two gluttons"¦ Where do we draw the line? Church is full of sinners.

We've had some gay couples come to church a few different times. We actually have one couple that continues to come pretty much every Sunday morning. Anyway, most people don't notice them. If the couple isn't acting inappropriately no one will probably even notice them as gay. On the other hand if they are obviously gay, we treat them as we treat eachother. We are all sinners trying to grow closer to God. No sin is any worse than another, it may be more discusting to me, but that's just my opinion. If we take the time to get to know them we will eventually have the opportunity to teach them the truth about God's expectations of our sexual relationships. BTW, the couple that continues to come, is respectful and decent. They have heard homosexuality condemned from the pulpit, and it opened the door to speak to them for some other members of the church. They haven't repented and ceased from their homosexual lifestyle, but Lord willing,in time hopefully they will understand that God has something better for them.

They would sit toward the back.It was a mild pentecostal church but non denominational. The pastor often preached against homosexuals yet these 2 felt very comfortable coming. During the greeting time one kissed my girlfriend {Wife now} on the cheek. I quietly walked up to him and whispered in his ear.."Don't ever kiss her again." and he didn't. Michael and his partner died of aids a few years later.

In Summary..the Methodist church I attend would let them visit but not participate in any of the ministries. If they ever do I will leave. My wife and I used ot love attending the Episcopal church.Once they ordained lesbian priest in New York...we left. Much of your offering goes to the head church.I will not support churches who support homosexual activity as an option. Fo rme it is tied in with a Satanism. Trust me...the way I preach a homosexual would not feel comfortable in my church. I'm a holiness man in my heart.

I totally Agree! We just pray for them that they see theLight at the other end of thetunnel before it's to late. Of course we try to also teach them the True Word from the bible. We must not forget that they walked into our Churches to seek the truth!

If they openly disrespect the congregation making out in the back of the church, they would be promptly told to leave. If they sat and listened, well, time to put on the witnessing cap.
