Default I'm sorry, but here's one more for Chuck and Rev...and everyone else

This guys name is Andy Mckee. Like I said I'm on kinda a music kick right now and I've discovered that there's alot of music stuff on youtube and similar sites. I found out AFTER I saw this video that he's won several competitions.

At first you think, "Oh, great...another show-off." Quickly you find out he has every right to start a song out like that. Beautiful, and there's several more songs of his on you tube as well. They're equally impressive and beautiful.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ddn4MGaS3N4&mode=related&search=

Excellent.

Like that Classical Gas. I wish I had that kind of talent. It ok, I get just as much enjoyment watching and listening.

I wasn't too excited about Classical Gas. Thought it was a boring excercise piece, until I saw that video.

Obviously, thats the way it was meant to be played. Amazing what a lil extra talent can do[8D]

I realize these guys have spent hours a day for DECADES to get where they are....but its kinda humiliating to see what some men are capable of[&:]

Got that right...I'm sure they don't spend too much time watching TV. When we had our TV up and running I spent zero time playing except when I played at church. Now. with no TV ..I spend at least an hour a night and I love it.
My goal is to be able to play about the 3 main scales completely on the fret board..
1. Blues, magor and minor .............easiest goal of them all

2. To play fast bluegrass songs smoothly ..still practicing

3. To write my own tablature for hymns...have no idea I need to investicate.
