Default Wipe away tears

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

I just wanted to post this scripture since for me it gives me comfort. One day when I get to see the Lord face to face, HE will wipe away my tears and clean my heart from all sadness and scars. I haven't really had a good day b/c for some reason I amremembering all my past hurts and mistakes, butthis scripture came to mine, so I though I would share it. Days like this is when I really hate satan for reminding me of failures. [:@]

Yes, what a glorious day that will be!
It is my prayer that you will get that peace that passeth all understanding in your heart and that the hurt will go away..don't let satan rob you of your joy. May God richly bless you and yours this year..

Thanks! I have that peace from my salvation, but ofter satan seems to remind me of all my failures from the past and trys to reopen up the scars. One thing I tell all the youth at my church is no matter what they do, they can't go back and unchange anything, so make sure that whatever they do, they won't regret b/c it will come back to haunt them some day, even if they are a christian.

When the men of the Bible sinned, God still held them accountable for their actions in the physical relm even though HE forgave them. He has made me new and washed my sins away, but I still struggle with all that I was suppost to be 20 years ago. I made several bad choices back then and even to this day, they still haunt me. But, that is why I know HE and only HE will wipe all my tears away. Anyway, thanks for the reply and I really appreciate many like yourself whom have encouraged me ever since I joined this forum back in October 2006. Though I have never physically met any of you, I consider many of you my spiritual friends b/c I have learned so much just reading the replys and reading the encouraging PM's etc.

I can relate my brother. I often face those battles myself. Here's a verse that I like in realtioship to what you said.

Phillipians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

I too, also have issues with being reminded with of my past. The one thing good that comes of it is that it humbles me, keeps my eyes on Jesus for saving this no good sinner !

Amen,
It makes you walk in mercy for we will need great mercy at the judgement seat. I spent some time dealing with this and we are promiced that love hides a multitude of sins , Therfore , love should be the law of our heart.

Here are some verses that have really encouraged me concernibg my insecurity in Christ,

1 John 3:14We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:12bIf we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
1 John 4:16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:

1 John 5: 13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
God bless,
C7

Thanks Chuck. I forgot about that one. Satan knows what buttons to push on each of us and on me, he is always bringing up my past. Some people might not think my past is that bad, but a sin is a sin is a sin. And, for satan to always bring it up really drags me sometimes. Today was just one of those days.

I am reminded of this scripture.
Luke 10:19-20: "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven."

As Christians we are taught to forgive, and most of us do that well. However many of us forget that we are forgive ourselves as well.

You hit the nail on the head. That is sometimes the hardest to do b/c we have to live with ourselves everyday.
