Default Do Christians really believe Heaven is near??

Matthew 4:17,,,From that time on Jesus began to Preach,"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Do you feelChristians today have an urgency that the kingdom of heaven is near,,that Christ could Come at any time?,,

Do ouractions show our true belief. ?? Are we seeking Gods Will,,,Do we really love thy God with all thy heart? and love our neighbor as thy self.?

Or are we to busy fighting among our selves,If we don't like what someone has to say ,debate it, if it can not be resolved then give it no more attention, continued arguing is pointless and brings Glory to no one that matters,,,instead pray for that person that God will change their heart and reveal His truth through the living Word,,,Its hard to hate your enemy when your praying for them sincerily

Jeff

That's pretty good and true.

YES. I believe the end is near. Prophecies are being fulfilled everyday. I think He may just be on the next cloud!

Only in the eye of the beholder..is the end near. And yes I do...
I was told when my father died...If you cant accept death, then you will not live life to its fullest...For it is the fear of death that makes our life misrable.

Yes the end is at hand.

No we don't act like it, and I hang my head in shame.

Yes, I really do love God. I guess thats why I argue.

No, God does not need me to fight His battles nor argue His arguments.

........ I hear ya...........

Forgive me Lord, Please.

God Bless

Yes, that is why satan sets at the head of the churches today, and that is why the True Believers are fleeing them............

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

It should also be pointed out that in the Last Days, all the pastors of all the dead churches will feed themselves, and drive out the flock........

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

-------------------
May God give the True Believers the strenth to endure the abuse of the religous churches today, and the pastors who lead them, who serve satan, and not God, until the Good Pastor comes to take them to fat pastures!

Bill,
I don't agree with everything you say and I know you don't agree with everything I say...but we are real close here, I was thinking earlier to go and sit in a Babylonian church to be above reproach ..that is just plain stupid. It's also being a man pleaser, If there was a true Christains church I would certainly go to one. I;m no longer going to a church to just endure it and help pay the Babylonian preacher his hefty paycheck.

These Babyalonian churches are the ones to teach
1. Godliness brings material wealth.
2. Sin is winked at.
3. Gluttony is winked at.
4. Sermons are watered down.
5. It's ok to watch violence and lust on TV
6. It's ok to listen to worldly music.
7. They are enemies to the "Daily Cross." they seek earthly pleasure instead of God's agenda.

However Bill, and I will not debate with you but I see serious fruit / works as adefinite must for salvation. many are called but few are chosen. The difference in the ones who are chosen...they are doers of the Word and not hearers only. As far as the majority of churches are corrupt.I 'll give you a hearty AMEN on that one.

Atthe last Day

John 12:48

48There is a judge for the _One_ who _Rejects_ me _and does not _Accept_ my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.

Romans 2:16
16This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.(NIV)
