You still can't explain away John 3:16 can you. Oops, it's that "whosever" thing again isn't it? My bad. [&:] How foolish of me to interpret "whosever" as "anyone". [&o]
Or, this from Romans:
3] For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness

Billy, the lenths that you will go to , to deny the Lord's Sovereignty over His People is staggering. This particular Scripture in no way suggests that Mary had the power to Choose her own salvation. The fact is, the Scriptures are VERY CLEAR, that both Mary, and Martha were True Believers. Jesus is simply saying that Mary has Chosen a better way to serve God {at his feet}, then she is by doing deeds {serving dinner}

I must say that your hatred of Gods Power indeed affords me the opportunity to use His Words to show the wickedness of your intent.
The "whosoever" represent those Chosen by God. Those who will believe on Jesus once He makes Himself known to them. The "whosoever" do not represent people who think they have "chosen", or "accepted" God. Those people represent the unbelievers mentioned in verse 18.
John 3:16-18 is perhaps God's Greatest testament to the fact that the True Believers are His Children, and the unBelievers are the children of satan.

Silly boy....Do you not know that all True Believers believe God, and that belief counts us among the righteous. Why do you think we are called True Believers. We are True Believers because we believe Gods Word, when He says our Salvation was based upon his Choice, Election, and Acceptance of us.
Let me ask you Billy. Would you care to comment on each and every Scripture I posted in my opening post?, or are you too weak, and immature to refute Gods Word?. The Scriptures live Billy. I challenge you to refute them........
BL , If God chose us, then what does that do to change the meaning ofJesus' crucifixion. The bible is clear that Jesus was crucified for the sins of man....not the sins of the chosen.... By saying that Jesus died only for the chosen, then you are cheapening the crucifixon of Jesus to a side show for the few.
And again , I ask, if it is as you say, then why argue and preach to us. Because if the elect are already chosen, none of your or our preaching will matter. They are already chosen, and it is impossible to mislead those whom God has chosen. So let us have our fun, because for all of our preaching and wittnessing, we cannot harm anyone. Thay are already chosen or destined to hell.
Here are those Scriptures again Billy. Would you please address each one individually, and tell us what they mean????

Wow BL howconvienent that you are among the chosen. And just when did you decide to be among the chosen. Or when did God see fit to reveal that YOU were chosen.
As I said BL, if this is fact, then why do you preach...it is pointless....they are already chosen. That cannot be changed....stop preaching. you are defeating your own argument.
BL, there was more to my post than that one piece. If you respond , please respond to the whole thing. I have left you several questions in several posts, but you are not answering them. Please do so. Tell me what the purpose is for your preaching. If the true believers are chosen, then no preaching by anyone will affect the outcome, so why do you do it.
