Default What is going on here?

I have been a member of this forum for a few months and basically stick to the Bowhunting forum. However, I have been reading this forum for a few days, and I am really confused. I am by no means a hardcore religuous person. I have my beliefs and they have nothing to do with what I am about to say. Can't some of you "Christians" just get along and spread the word of God, and help people grow in their spirtual journey. Seems to me like all you guys want to do is argue with each other. Chuck doesn't like Bill, then he loves him, Bill doesn't like Steve, Steve doesn't like Bill, and other people throw their .02 in along the way. I am not trying to start anything, and no one has to reply if they don't want to. But this type of thing is why many people have turned away from modern Christianity.

Yep it gets ugly sometimes, it ought not be so. One of the biggest things I've seen is that even though most of us here are Christians we tend to only see our theological perspectives as the only way. Many try to push their own way of thinking on others, and before you know it. It's a civil war. I've seen this in many Churches, that is what causes splits within all denominations.

When ever you get a group of people made up of so diverse denominations these things will happen. We need to respect the belief of others, even though we may not agree. I've been in some serious theological disagreements with some of the best, I am now just too exhausted to fight theology with anyone.

And to answer you caa66366, I care. I've been here a long time, and whether I agree with some or all, we are still brothers in Christ.

Because my friend we are in a war the Bible says. My dear friend ,Satan sets snares along the way. Usually I'm on top of life's journey and the Holy Spirit will show me a snare ahead of time...like when a buck can smell a hunter in advance. I must admit...I've allowed myself to step into a few snares lately..and as Big Country said.."I'm simply human." The snares are the same snares since Adam and Eve..the snare of words. I don't like snares so I've been fasting now for over 70 days. In school the Lord will tell me in advance when a snare is coming and sure enough ...everytime ..a snare really was coming and I was able to advoid it. But, the snares coming from folks on here are much more suttle..One minute I'm praying and fasting for someones family memeber and then the next thing you know they are laying out a snare...my discernment slipped and I stepped right into it. It really ticks me off too. [:@]

As far as the Bill thing goes..anytime we can turndislike to love..that is a good thing.
God bless sir,

Psalm 33: 11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
12 They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
14 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
15 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:

The only thing you can expect from a human is for them to be human. As soon as you put a guy on a pedistle, he will fall off. We are all made from the dirt of the ground. And to that dirtour fleshwill return.
