the newly elected Congressman from Mich(I think) is a Muslim, and wants to use the Koran to be sworn in with..... Do you see a conflict in this request? will this be another avenue to remove the bible from our Government altogether?

Not at all. It is not the Job of the True Believer in Jesus Christ to interefere with the deceptions of worldly people. To think that swearing on the Koran, the Christian Bible, the Torah, or any other "holy book" makes one more apt to be truthful is simply satan once again deluding people.

What the True Believer should be doing with His or Her time is pointing out that it is Salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ that makes one follow the commandments of God, not a profession of man to be truthful in, and of himself

The Bible, ie the Word of God never belonged to the US Government. The Bible is only for the True Believers in Jesus Christ to understand. Worldly Governments may place the verses of the Bible on their buildings. Worldly political leaders may use Gods Scriptures to try and justify war, revenge, and violence, and decieved people may think that this makes their nation a "Christian Nation", but who ever said that satan was not a crafty Demon?
