When watching a movie or listening to music how do you know the work was done by god or devil? I know there are many bad movies and there are some good ones. How do you know what you shouldnt watch and listen to?

Little brother this may be a lengthy answer, but this was my devotional today on my website. Take time to read it, it may have your answer in it.

A friend of mine told me a story about an experience he had in Israel. They were in the country visiting some of the famous biblical sites when they saw a group of sheepherders. A shepherd brought his flock of sheep into a round pen for the night. Then, a few minutes later, another shepherd brought his flock into the pen. Then, a few minutes later, yet another shepherd brought his sheep into the pen. There were three groups of sheep in the pen with no identifying marks among any of them. My friend wondered how in the world they would separate their sheep the next day.
The next morning, a shepherd came over to the pen and made a comment to his sheep. One by one, the sheep filed out to follow him. Only his sheep followed his voice. My friend said it was an amazing scene to see only that shepherd's sheep follow him and the others remain in the pen. What a picture of Jesus' words spoken centuries earlier.
Hearing and responding to Jesus' voice is the key to having a two-way relationship with God. It is the difference between having religion and a relationship. Can you recognize God's voice in your life? Are you listening to the Shepherd's voice? Do you respond when He calls? Ask Jesus to help you increase your ability to hear. Give more time to spending quiet moments in His presence to hear His voice. He wants to be your Good Shepherd.

A True Believer is given the Mind of Christ to know that he cannot hide himself from the fornications of this world, as we see in scripture.......
I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
In this Scripture the True Believer is told that they will be constantly surrounded by worldly evil. Owning a contracting company, it is very commom to be surrounded by foul language, and course behavior out in the field. On most occasions we are contracted by people who deny Jesus, and people who belong to religous cults, and churches, yet we still work for them.
Everytime you place gas in your vehicle, you are fueling your car with fuel that comes from a pagan nation. Will you not drive?. Everytime you turn on your TV,radio, or computer you are turning on a medium that contains the most wicked, and godless material that can be found, but do you throw them away, and send smoke signals?
As Scripture says, we cannot escape the carnal nature of the world. However, since God proclaims that greater his he who is within me, than he who is within the world. This speaks powerly to our protection in Christ.
Perhaps the greates place that worldly evil is proliferated is with in the false churches, and cults. The poison that is taught within these places is deadly to many, but NOT to the True Believers who have yet to flee them, for God says.....and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not harm them.
What a great comfort!!!!. To know that we can live in a vile world, and be exposed to poisonous false teaching, yet come out unharmed, speaks volumes of Gods Salvistic power, and ability to keep His Chosen People saved eternally!

Sorry BC, but my job is to preach the Gospel, and that is part of it. You see folks are real quick to point out the corrupt nature of the world, by pointing the finger at things that surround us like TV, movies, hollywood, the inner cities, crack dens, whorehouses, bar-rooms, and the sort, yet they fail to realize that one of the greatest bastions of immoral behavior, and godlessness will be found in the very "churches" that profess His Name.
The fact is, it is God who says that Satan will make his final stand in the churches. I am just passing on the info, so don't blame me...

Actually, it is the other way around. I usually leave "pastors", and church people seething, and pulling their hair out.....
Well, its your soapbox. Mine soapbox is TV/Porn/ and the scienceand its effects of seaping in our homes. How the devil uses science to corrupt the home in such a decietful manner.
