The Bible teaches that a man can serve but one Master. The Freemasons, like all other groups that were formed from paganism are the creation of satan. Sadly you will have many so called "believers" singing their praises. God predicted that.

I don't believe in Mason's or Masonic Lodges! It's everyones prerogative to belong to what ever you choose. I choose not!

This may seem off the topic at first glance, but please read itthrough and you will see the connection.

There is a Junior Masonic type organization. It is called DeMolay. I used to be a member of it. We are talking 26 years ago. The organization was based upon a Guy named Jacques DeMolay, who lived during, and died as a result of, the Crusades. He was held up as a maryter. The organization was basically the worship of him and the beliefs he held, like not divulging the secrets and membership of an organization. We held our meetings in the local Masonic Lodge, and our adult guidance came from men in the local Masonic Lodge. There are many secrets held in the organization. We are supposed to be " Christian " , but the meetings and what is called " Ritual " performed during the meetings are to Jacques Demolay. There are secret handshakes, secret door knocks, and specific robes each Boy leader wears, and things in the Ritual book that no one out side the organization is supposed to ever know. I know all about it, because I held 2 terms as the head guy, the Master Councilor. I lead for a few years.

After I was too old to remain in Demolay, I was approached to join the Masons. They have the same secrets .... etc.... but they also have secrets that are even more serious. Things that are said to be under penalty of death if ever divulged. There is much that most people do not know about the Masons, but the internet, and the discovery and history channel are helping some. But NO, they are not a Christian orgainzation. They may look it, and thay may speak it, but that is meant to misdirect.
Masonic Members will get angry, and tell you you do not know what you are talking about, etc.... anything to protect their own and their organization, but they worship something other than God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. A few Master Masons, 32 nd degree Masons, have come forward to testify that when they were called to receive the highest degree of a Mason, they were asked to denounce God. They could not do it though, because they had never given up their Christian beliefs. The degrees of Masonry are conferred through speech and memory only. Nothing in writing, so there-fore no one can show evidence of their beliefs, butIt is, none-the-less, a very Pagen organization, and they recrute through " friends " and the young mens organization of DeMolay. In Demolay there is something called " The seven Cardinal Virtues of A DeMolay " , and not one of them is Jesus. BTW - girls organizations are " The Rainbows " and the " Eastern Star ".

Merry CHRISTmas

God Bless

The few I know are honest upstanding citizens. My neighbor is a mason and is one heck of a nice fellow who has been a great neighbor for over 20 years. George Washington was a mason. I know hardly anything about freemasonry but again the few I'm familiar with I admire as upstanding people.

Are you trying to say that George Washington was of satan and that my neighbor is of satan? LOL, well all I can say is that George Washington was a great man and contributed much to to this country and we owe his memory great respect and honor. My neighbor is a good man and a good neighbor and I'm honored to call him a friend. Like I said, I don't know about the religious beliefs of free masons. I suspect it is different from mine, but from what I can see as citizens and honorable people they are of the best. Those are my "thoughts". That's what billy mac asked for.

Actually , Sylvan, there were many presidents who were Masons. As a whole, they are a very very powerful group.

As for them being great men, and good friends and neighbors, I know many that are very nice too, but I have never gotten into their Christian beliefs. Also, satan can send his "angels" , and people are decieved everyday, by nice deamons, because it is hard to deceive people if the deamons are trying to lure you to them with anger , meanness, haterid, and ugly , nasty things. That kinda lets the cat out of the bag ..... if you know what I mean. And when I led the boys organization, I was nice too, but now I can see where my thoughts and beliefs were slowly being changed, and God was not the center of my life. Jacques DeMolay was.

Oh and BTW... Do we owe George Washington a deep debt. This country was founded for and by the Grace of God, and the world has been turned over to Satan. Look at the shape we are in right now. Instead of placing my faith and appreciation in G.W. , I would rather put it in Jesus. For in man, there is no good thing. And Satan is the GREAT DECEIVER.
