Default I'm back from my Hunting trip!

Hey guys! I am back from the trip to North Carolina and we had a great time! We were in camp witha girl that was theNationalChampion insome kind of youth outdoor shooting sport. She was very sweet and took a fine doe on her first hunt. There was a TV crew there filming her hunts. They were allnice folks. The show is called "Living the Good Life" and it's on theMen's Channel. I've never seen it, but I will watch for it now.

My Dad, Moose, and Myself all took a few does and filled the freezer! I passed on a nice 8-point cause he wasn't as big as my last buck. He sure was beautiful though! Here's a picture of me and our guide Ernie andmy does, one stood still and I got a clean head shot, the other I had to shoot in the lungs. I also saw a really cool piebald yearling, it was a great trip.

I hunted there with my father and brother back around 1999 and 2000 it was alot of fun Gil, Ernie and Sam are great people. There was a woman they called Miss Alberta in the kitchen she added 10 lbs to my waist line while I was there. It is nice southern deer hunting alot of land alot good stands and a nice trophy area to hunt in to if that is your thing. We went there to just shoot deer and got plenty of them we also did shoot a couple of nice bucks too. Just be careful in that trophy area I think the fine for a deer with a spread under 15" is 300 bucks. They also have some awesome bass ponds if you hunt early enough in the year ask them if you can fish them they got some huge bass. Buy the way the turkey population was out of this world when I was there ,that might make for a good trip back with ny son some spring.

I've actually got more to tell y'all about the trip! One last detail that will take some explaining! [8D] I'll post in just a few minutes....

That's great! We like them alot also! Sam and Ed, (Ed is Ernie's brother) came and hunted with us in Bama last year in January. We have been two years in a row now. They are great folks. Ernie is soposed to come this year. We hope to see him soon.
