Default Does It Really Matter?

Unrelenting, that is one way to describe the devil's attack on Christians..he will do anything to shake our faith in God..and he has no qualms about placing question bumps in the road of life and allowing them to grow into mountains in order to serve his purpose..
Jesus said he was a liar from the beginning so it shouldn't surprise us when someone says the story of the great flood is fiction.. or the story of creation is impossible..we've heard it all haven't we..these attempts are to cause the believer to waiver and to weaken his faith.. one thing that comes out every year about this time is,"Christ wasn't born on Dec.25, what you are celebrating is a pagan holiday." well that's true, Christ's birthday most likely wasn't on that day..probably not even in the month of Dec. the scripture does not tell us when He was born so my question is,Does it matter?
what really matters is,"therefore the Lord himselfshall give you a sign, behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel Isa.7:14
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour which is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11.
"And the Word (of God) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and glory." John 1:14
bottom line; we have reason to rejoice in the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh NO MATTER WHEN IT WAS..let the devil say whay he may, he's a liar and up to no good anyway.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL..

Sure don't matter to me.

All I know is that He is alive and well and living inside of me. That's all that matters in my opinion. And why He chooses to stay inside of this dirty sinner is beyond my comprehension but I'm thankful He does. Thank you Lord.

A most excellent post Bro Motor. I'll take the Word of God any day over anything I read or hear. God's Word is more than a written text . . .it's a living Word that dwells and testifies within me and my spirit has all the proof it needs and then some. Jesus Christ has changed my life and is yet working for my betterment . . . .never have been edified by anything I've read on evolution except when they backtrack and take another cold trail.

Sadly anything proclaimed in the name of "jesus" is accepted as gospel truth these days. Those who dare point out the blasphemic nature are answered with a quick, and short "does it really matter"?.

This is why the local churches are easily impregnated by satan. Then again, the pharisees thought hustling goods in the temple "didn't matter" either.......go figure.

I would have to disagree with you there. I can think of one guy that likes to come in here a lot but has to change his user name like some folk change their socks . . . . .nobody listens to him or accepts a lot of what he has to say.

But anyway . . .welcome to the forum!!!!

Yea, I know what you mean. It's just hard to get excited about one who can't, or want, tell you what the name of his God is.

Satan knows that Jehovah is God, but what has it profited him?.

The Lord God Jehovah must embrace you, for you to know Him. When you know Him, then and only then can you speak His Name with authority.

Matt.7:21-23
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
