First, Proverbs 30:4
4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

Now, John 1:14
14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Back to Proverbs 30:
5Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Is it prophesy that after asking the Son's name, the subject of the very next line is the word of God, which is one of Jesus' many names? Or is it merely coincidence?

Some good verses to look at in connection with those given are found in Hebrews 1:1-8. Verse 4 declares that The Son obtained his name by inheritance. Who does a son obtain him name from? From his Father. Jesus taught his diciples to pray after this manner, "Our Father which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy Name". The Father has a name. If we find The Fathers name, we will know the Name of his Son. John 5:43 Jesus plainly declares that he came in "His Fathers Name" and they received him not. Eph3:15 Paul says that Jesus was given the name of which the whole family in Heaven and earth is named. Acts 4:12 There is none other name under Heaven, given among men, where by we must be saved. Phil 2:10 At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow.
As a son, I inherited my fathers name, his name was Busbee, therefore my name is Busbee. My son obtained his name from me, making his name Busbee also. My grandson obtained his name from my son, therefore he is also a Busbee. Busbee is the name that the whole family is named. If we find the name of the whole family in Heaven, we see that the name of The Father, the name of The Son, and the name of The Holy Ghost, are all the same name. What ever we do, do all in the Name of Jesus.
