This is an article I saw today on Yahoo. It say a certain fossil they found back in 1990 is actually not as old as they initially thought. About 53% younger as a fact.
So, with this information, whos to say the fossil is actually much much younger that then new age??? This just proves that they don't know the truth about their dating process, but I know the one who knows the exact date of everything.
The sad note is, when they initially said the fossil was very old, they probably presented it as FACTS to the public and our students. Now, they will probably present then new age of the fossil as FACTS. How can you do that when your first "guess" was 53% off??????????
I trust my heavenly father who knows when everything was created and the exact date. Anyway, just though I would point out this b/c the media will not make a big to do over it b/c it underminds their belief against God.
PARIS (AFP) - A key fossil found at South Africa's Sterkfontein Cave, a site dubbed "the Cradle of Humankind" for its trove of hominid relics, is far younger than initially thought, a new study says.
"Little Foot," a fossil with both ape-like and human features, was found in the 1990s thanks to remarkable luck and diligent work.
It was first dated to between 3.0 and 3.5 million years old, and later to more than 4.1 million years.
Those dates generated huge excitement.
For one thing, they threw up a South African contemporary to "Lucy," the famous Australopithecus afarensis fossil found in Ethiopia's Awash Valley in 1974 and, until then, chief contender for the title of ancestor of mankind.
But a paper published in the US journal Science on Thursday says Little Foot's age is likely to be around 2.2 million years. If so, rather than being man's direct ancestor, Little Foot is more likely to have been a distant cousin.
The dating method is based on a measurement of an isotope of lead, Pb 206, derived from the decay of uranium 238, on layers of rock above and below the fossil. The more lead in the sample, the older the rock.

I wonder what they would have said if the wrestler, Andre the Giant's body had been discovered,without knowing that it was him or when he lived? He is a great example of how that an isolated skeletal remain means absolutely zero in their argument. How would a scientist know how old a stone tool is that he did not excavate himself? He has to rely on what the discoverer tells him he found in association with the stone tool. The scientists had the misfortune of having to rely on the honesty ofyour friend, the liar and thief. Doesn't that prove the fraud of dating by carbon ? If you have to tell the examiner when you think it should be dated , then the test is unreliable.
