I am blessed!!!!!

You know all one has to do is look around to see that they are blessed in some way. When you are young and dumb you take so many things for granted.

My father who had surgery 4 weeks ago drove to my house against my wishes to see me and my family to have a small Christmas get together. He and my step mother live about 4 hours from us. He still has a drainage tube in from the hernia operation.

My son who has had a very rough time joined us. My daughter was there as well as my beautiful wife. I got the pleasure of taking everyone out to eat at a restaraunt that my dad requested to go to. Afterwards we exchanged a few gifts. I got to try and teach my dad and step-mom how to use a computer. They are in their 60's and just bought their first computer. Man I am so very proud of them.

My dad gave me a card at the bottom he had written I hope you have a blessed holiday. As I looked around the room at the love that eacch one in that room had for one another my eyes filled with tears and the only thing I could say or think was " I already have been".

I give all of the glory and praise to our heavenly Father. Thank you LORD for all of the many blessing you have given to me in my 37 years on this earth.

Amen and again I say amen. I have so many blessings that they would out number the stars of the sky. Blessings like having my parents (early 70's), brother and sister, my wondeful wife and her wonderful family. I have the best inlaws one could ask for and the best friends, which whom all go to church with us. Most everyone in both of our families are saved and we have wonderful careers. God has given me another day to live and breath and worship Him. There are so so so many other blessings, and I could not live long enough to say them all, but I thank the Lord always for them. And, all of them are through His grace, because I didn't deserve any of them.

Lastly but not the least I thank the Lord for Jesus Christ and His provisions for my salvation. I also thank the Lord that we live in a country that we can freely seek the truth of Jesus Christ.

Thanks for sharing Steve ....we rejoice with with you. As I sit and type this I can rejoice in the fact that I have a piece of venison sausage frying in the pan, a wife that absolutely loves me, a great classroom of kids that are hungry to learn, 3 sons, some of the best fishing in the state within 10 minutes away and fellowship with people like you.

Some times we see our problems above all the many blessing we have. Im guilty of it. Every now and then I set back, take a deep breath and take notice of the many blessings I have.
