Default Live 911 call from man attacked by gator 2 miles from me last night.

[/align]Deleted because of strong language. The language used God's name in vain and a few F= words.
My wife suggested I delete it.

The man lost his arm and is in cridical condition. He had been smoking crack and decidedto go skinny dipping naked with an 11 1/2 foot gator.
he needs prayer

I pray that he finds Christ love and surrenders his life to Him. I also pray for his physical healing and may God be glorified through this situation. We are always confronted with two choices when trials arise, to head in Christ's direction or head in the opposite direction.

Not to steal the thread, but i was just trying to explain this to good friend and she was not having it.She believes that when people get sick. Say they are very close to a diabetic coma, then they dont know what there doing and whatever it is that they do there is no choice. And funny thing is that i debated this well with her but now that i typed im not even really sure what to think. what kinda choices do you get if your mind goes sick?

Well, everything hinges on our abilities to make our own choices, which was given by God. Through this ablilty to make our own choices, God can see really where our hearts really are. One thing I believe is the following:

"Habits, weather good or bad took time to develope and will take time to break."

This is something I have said for may years and have seen it hold true in much of life. For example, let's suppose I decide to start drinking alcohol. At first, I know what I am doing because I am making the choice. But, as my choice to drink becomes a habit, I slowly become addicted. Eventually, my attiction is so strong that it is hard for my physical body to say "no" to the alcohol. (I am not saying drinking is wrong in this example) As time goes on, my body is damaged and my mind starts failing to the point that I can't make any rational decisions anymore. Then eventually I go and try to kill myself and finaly wind up in the hospital and die.

This story is very true because it was my nucle that it happened to. The alcohol addition became so strong that he could not make any rational choices anymore. And the sad note is when I finally tried to tell him about Christ's love for him, he was mentally so gone that he could not understand. Now, baring a miracle that he gave his live to the Lord when he was "mentally" out and I could not tell, he is in hell.

But, the bottom line here is we all make choices and each choice produces a result. Some results are desirable and some are not. Some choices take us where we never intended to go and if allowed to, can take us too far.

I hope this helps in clearing things up.

yeah thats pretty much what i was telling my friend. and she agrees with this, her debate is the disease that you have no choice over. Like say the diabeties (i have no clue if thats spelled right). people have no choice over this. Nobody decides they are gonna be diabetic. And if there symptoms go to the worse, they canbecome very mind sick. When these cases come up people can do some outragous things. Would the simplicity of tomorrow is another day on the fools calender be a debate ender.

I understand that and that is a hard one to explain. But, since sin entered the world through one man (adam), not only was our spiritual lives affected but also our physical lives. Remember that when the 1st sin happened, the entire world, both spiritual and physical were affected. Also, Jesus said that the man who builds his house on the rock and the man who builds his house on the sand will both have storms.

I remember growing up and meeting a man when I was a child whom was blind, deaf, and mute. I could not understand this for a long time why God would create someone like that, but once I became a christian and after bible studies and prayer, I soon realized that God didn't do that on purpose, but that the sin of our world has affected many lives. I am in no way saying that this man sinned somehow in the womb, but "our" sins have affected all peoples.

Possible...I could tell some similiar stories about myself but I better wait till I retire from the school board first.

i think the 3 sheriffs should get promotions and medals. That took alot of heart and guts to wade out there at 3:00AM "Brushing against other gators " to save this man. I am very proud of them.
