I have been doing a study of how the Bible was put together and am amazed the we have a christion bible at all. Here it is and it is up to debate I will just post the facts of the history of how it was put together. First in the 4th century there were 2 diffrent Bible that had 4 more books in them than the Bible we have today What happen to these? In the 6th century constantine wanted one Bible and order 50 copys of this Biblewhy were they missing 4 books.
Here is where man steps in, with what they want in the Bible as all know here I have a BIG problem with the translation of the Bible and how it was put together.. Here is the ? for debate what happen to the books the were left out and why. I have resherched this and I think I have the answer But I am leaving this for a debate
Bottom line is this WHO was right and who was wrong and why.
OH PLEASE Chantecler that is NOT what I ment to do and if that is the way I came across please forgive me. I am as some say here on this foruma zelot when it come to Christ and beleave in God and the Son thru his blood we are saved. I am just bringing up what happen when man sticks his nose in and try to tell us what God is saying and what we must do to be a Christian as this thread grows I am sure you will see where I am coming from..

I apologize, and your right there are certain people around here who claim to know more than they actually do.
Chuck,
I don't know about all of that Chuck.. I do know the 66 books that compose our Bible tday is more than sufficient for me. It has all the answers of life and reveals God's love toward us. I do know there werea few other books mentioned in the Bible itself but for some reason we don't have them. I believe we have the 66 books / letters that God intended us to have.
Some of the other books I see mentioned are The Book of Enoch and Paul gives reference to Clement .
I agree but would the 4 or 5 book that were left out of our Bible because of a few men I beleave they were 11 of them, today help us understand more of the ? a lot of people are asking. I say the answer is yes and I am not talking about the gnostic books.

Works for me too! I trust that God has what he wants in the Bible. As far as the missing books and other information, I have no clue and have never read up on that. Sorry, I am no help, but will follow this intresting thread. Should be an interesting thread.

I find it strange the only one men pick the 11 and that was Constantine
Constatine was the Roman Emperor; everyone at the Council of Nicea in 325 was there at his pleasure. It was his perogitive to determine what would be included and what would be excluded. The only Bible that could emerge from the processwasone that had Constantine's approval.
