Default Thanksgiving Time

I just though I would post this scripture since it is Thanksgiving time. I have been totally blessed by God from the very breath that I take to mine and my wife's jobs that provide to my wonderful christian friends that I have at my church to my awesome family and to many other numerous blessings HE and only HE has given me. One thing that my wife and I do and have always done for the past 12 years of marriage is each time we pray, we always thank God for all his provisions, blessings, love, grace, and watch care. I tell people often that I am filthy rich and they ask me how much money I have and I say, not too much. Then they say something like, "How can you be filty rich when you don't have much money?" To which my reply is I am rich in God's blessings which far out number the amount of money this world has to offer.

Another blessing that I am thankful for is my God and Savior has provided me with the worlds best wife. She is my best friend and I thank God for providing her to me. When I married, I moved way up on the "deserving scale." She is such a godly woman and such a strong support to me.

Psalm 100
All Men Exhorted to Praise God.
A Psalm for Thanksgiving.

1(A)Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.
2(B)Serve the LORD with gladness;
(C)Come before Him with joyful singing.
3Know that (D)the LORD Himself is God;
It is He who has (E)made us, and [a]not we ourselves;
We are (F)His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4Enter His gates (G)with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise
Give thanks to Him, (H)bless His name.
5For (I)the LORD is good;
(J)His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His (K)faithfulness to all generations.

I love this time of year, from October through January and especially Thanksgiving time, so I just wanted to share what is on my heart and hope you share with me what you are thankful for.

PS: I am also thankful that God has led me to this hunting site, not just for the hunting aspect, but for this religious forum. At first, I was dissappointed at what seemed like bickering, but now after prayer, I know for the MOST PART, you guys are diving into the scripture for more spiritual meat and I have enjoyed that part.

Anyway, may God continue to richly bless all of you this Thanksgiving time and lets hear what you are thankfull for.

I'm thankful for a loving wife also. I'm thankful for you men that have prayed for her headaches because as of late they have been much better. Thank you so much and please continue as I know God must be listening to one or all of you. I am extremely thankful for grace and mercy becauseI need both often. Happy thanksgiving to all of you men and women. Chris

What I want to express this Thanksgiving is this: We all have lists of things for which we are thankful. God gives us gifts and blessings every day. We don't have anything for which God does not deserve praise, thanks, and glory. But the most wonderful and amazing thing is that we did not and cannot earn it. We do not and will not deserve it. We all fall short, but God blesses us, he gives to us, and he shows us His grace anyway. Praise and thanks to God!!!
