Default Da Vinci Code

Anyone watched it? I watched it the other night.I think there is some truth to it.I remember in school and seeing a picture of the last supper.I allways thought that was a women beside Jesus,But never mentioned this.
I try to understand why da vince would put a women in that painting. Could it be true that Jesus and Mary was husband and wife and she pregnant during his crucifx. A verse in the bible got my attention about this. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. I don't believe the grail was a cup that many think of. Jesus even said,There is no greater thanthy father. Why would he say this if he was God in the flesh? I do believe God is his father but Jesus power was not as great as his fathers.I believe God is our father all so but we was not born the same as Jesus was. There are some versus in the bible that would suggest that Mary and Jesus was married. There are stories written by Mary herself that we have not read along with many others that was not placed in the bible. Why is this.It seams like who ever put the book together only wanted us to know so much. How can we get the truth if we don't read all the stories?I am starting to question christianity as it was taught to us.Why would the church not allow information about this and only what they want us to know or why try to decieve us. Isn't their something about us comming out of the church all so because of corruption? Made me wonder and still wondering.

this was a ok movie and fun to think about, You know all the secret societies, hidden messages and treasure hunts is something everyone wants to know more about. But even though its fun to think about jesus having a blood line does not change my christianty. Jesus was a man who did miracleous and amazing things, mainly he died for my sins........who can top that!!!!!!!! I suppose this could change catholic views of mary and faulter beliefs of some. But for me, ihave my faith in god andjesus christ my savior.Like i said all of it is fun to think about butprayer to god and jesus has done amazing things for me so its gonna take a lot morethan movie forme toquestion my faith.

Well, my friend, then you fell right into the trap they wanted you too. Sad to hear that a hollywood story would impact your life so heavily. The gnostic gospels were wrote hundreds of years after Jesus Christ was crucified. Who are you going to believe and pin your salvation on? Books wrote by people that wasn't there to see Jesus die and rise again, or books wrote by those who lived and walked with Jesus. Why is it, everyone wants to rip apart the Bible so much?

Remember John 1:1
[ The Word Became Flesh ] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Then Rev. 19:13
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

John 8:58
"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

The Da Vinci Code is a pure and simple work of fiction.

Wow, its nice to agree with californiadoctor!

Seriously though, I wouldn't have problems with it EXCEPT it presents itself as actual truth, researched and valid...and it simply isn't. I may look through some stacks of papers and see if I can't find the weblinks and the quick fact-sheet about it.

I'm really sorry to hear that Lead Poisoner. Myself, even tho I have been a christian for some years I would'nt walk across the street to see the Da Vinci Code. It would'nt be so bad if the reviews would show that it is a fictional work . . .but their pushing this movie as if it were pure fact.
I suggest you purchace one of the books they have out that show the Da Vinci Code for what it is . . .at the very least.
Your walk has come under serious attack and I'm concerned for folk that have no business seeing this movie . . . .which in my opinion is everyone that serves Christ.

I saw this movie. I don't believe in santa claus or the easter bunny or the stuff in this movie. It is fiction and noone should get confused into thinking otherwise.
