Friday night was the first time I hunted there this year . . . And I got the 9 point. This morning was the second time there . . . And this 8 point made a mistake by showing up. He was 11lbs heavier than the 9 point -- and I'm giving him to a friend of mine.

It's been a very eventful few days. The pics in this thread are of my 2nd buck - the 1st one has a slightly better rack. The necks were very swollen on these two and I hadn't seen either of them before I shot them - the rut is kicking into gear around here!

This is my property and the pic was taken about 125 yards away from my house. I was able to drive my truck pretty close to each buck so I've been very blessed. And I STILL have this nagging cold![:@]

Mark, I'm not sure which of my bucks is larger than yours, but both of them together certainly are!!! BTW, anyday this week or next is good for getting together to hunt. Rickmur is coming over thurs, fri and sat so feel free to make it a threesome.
