Default First deer this year!
I got a nice buck on my very first hunt at my lease in Bama. We have caught him on camera a few times in the spot where I hunted, so I was hopeful that he'd come out. I still didn't know if he would though. He followed a doe out and behind him was another nice buck, he gave me a shot and I took it. I got him at around 5:00 last thursday night. I hope you enjoy the picture!

I shoot a Hoyt Ultra-tec, Easton Axis arrows, with Muzzy 100 grain three blade broadheads. He was 40 yards out, I was on the groundand that wasthe first time to ever get one from the ground! I had climbed up, but couldn't see good enough, so I got down and sat under some small pines on the edge of the field.

Thank you guys!

I had a great time! My brother "Moose" was with me, he saw a nice 8 point, but got no shots this weekend. He's ready for the guns to come out in Bama! I am too, now!

Congratulations. Very fine harvest. My hat is off to anyone who shoots a bow. I tried and tried again. I guess it was just not meant to be.
