A recent thread here has reminded me I owe a
big THANKS SO MUCH to alot of people here.
A while back I asked for prayers and positive
thoughts for my nephew. Short version, he
lost his mother to ALS as little more thant an
infant and was neglected by his father up until
nearly 8 years of age. Wife and I took him back
in late Jan '06.
My combination rant and prayer request was
answered by very many here with prayers, thoughtful
replies and encouragement. I've got to report that
nephew is doing well, we've not had any problems
(no contact at all actually) from the deadbeat and
the Childrens Advocacy has taken a "hands off" attitude
with us (which is fine as I have no confidence in them).
Nephew has some anger managment issues which is quite
understandable having been thru what he has. The
therapist we've started taking him to for help is sure
he was mentally, emotionally and physically abused
but is coming along well. Despite some trying times
he is really a joy and blessing to be around.
And so again THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO PRAYED,
SENT POSITIVE THOUGHTS OR GAVE SUPPORT IN ANY
WAY!!! I know it all helped and blessed us.
