I have two scriptures I would like to hear replys on.
Hebrews 10: 26-27
26 For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.
and
Hebrews 6: 4-6
4 For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.
Do these scripturesmean if someone who is saved and knowingly commits a sin falls away and then has no hope for salvation????? If that is the case, then no one could be saved, because we all sin willingly and unwillingly. Example: We know the speed limit, but yet we still speed. Remember, that all it takes is one sin for separation from God and all sins are the same to Him, weather steeling a pair of socks or killing someone. What do you think? Thanks for the replys.

I belive it means that a person willingly defies God and then does not seek repentence for his wrongdoing because he wants to defy God cannot be brought into Heaven. Because that would mean they have chosen a path taking them away from God, example sleeping with a different girl every night, that is adultery, and if a person willingly keeps this behavior up to defy God and they never ask for forgiveness, then yes they will be set down a narrow path and on each side of the path separation from God resides.
Matt.7:13-14
[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

I understand that, but I know someone who knows what they are doing is wrong but they chose to keep doing it and yet they call themself a christian.

Simply stated, the Christian has two choices: he can walk after the flesh which leads to sin and death, or he can walk after the Spirit, which leads to righteousness and eternal life (Romans 8:5-14; Galatians 5:16-25). When Paul admonished believers not to continue in sin, he reminded them, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

Do you understand His Commandments?

Yes I do, but I am asking your thought on this, not just a reply with scripture that I have read. Have you ever gone over the speed limit knowingly you did? In fact, almost everyone who drives has. So, does that mean your drivers license is taken away?????

They can call themselves a Christian all they want, but on Judgement day, they will be judged! Some Christians are in the Book of Life and those who have truly loved the Lord andobeyed His commandments will be in the Lambs Book of Life!
