I have always wondered this and when I ask people in my church or friends, they really don't know and then try to come up with an answer to hopefully satify me. It is like, once youare saved, they don't want you to ask any more questions, but I feel that we should really start asking questions to learn and grow in Christ. Some older folks in the church think that if you ask deepquestions, that you are questioning God and is asin. I know that is not true so here is the question.
Basic Info:
1. God created man.
2. God loves man somuch that He doesn't want one soul togo to hell. So HemanifestedHimself as a humanby sendingHis onlySon Jesus Christwho was born of a virgin, lived a sinnless life, died on a cross, rose on the 3rd day, assended back to heaven and will return someday.
3. God is all knowing.
4. God knows who will accept Him and who will reject Him.
5. God gave us a free will to choose Him freely. That way, He trully knows who love him and who just goes through the motion.
6.Hell is for the devil, demons, the fallen angles andnon-believers.
7.Since man has a choice to acceptChrist asLord and Savior or reject Him,man then either condems himself to hell or accepts the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
OK, Here is the question. If God is all knowing, why does he create people that he knows will reject him and then they go to hell???? It is almost like Godcondems them to hell even though I know otherwise, but yet they still have a choice. Yet HE created them and HE knew they would reject him and ..........UGH!!!!!!
After I realized that I needed a savior because of my awful sins, I met Jesus Christ and HE saved me by HIS saving grace. But, I still wonder about why God creates people with whom HE knows will reject HIM and they they end up in hell.
Thanks for any imput.

And by asking a question like that you are giving an atheist a good chance to hammer you good. Because they can say that he isn't an all loving God for sending people to Hell.
That is one of those questions where it is difficult enough for me to get my head around and understand the answer. Let alone try to explain it to another.
Suppose you showed up all dressed up ready to play in a big championship football game. The teams warm up, the coach gives an insirational speach and the players are welcomed onto the field by cheers from their supporters.
Captians go to Center line for the coin toss. And the head referee says" God knows who is going to win this game and he told me in a dream that it was the blue team, so I am going to give the trophy to the blue team and there is no need to play this game".
Eweryone is given a life and a free will to choose their destiny. Along the way they will interact and effect other lives. Though God may know how it will end for the person, God does not create them to fail.
I don't know if this does anythig for you as I said it is hard enough for me to fathum let alone explain it.

Perfect, thank you for saying this I have been meaning to say these words for a long time.
And by asking a question like that you are giving an atheist a good chance to hammer you good. Because they can say that he isn't an all loving God for sending people to Hell.
I can see where you are coming from, but that sounds just like the answers I heard at church. When we become a christian, that doesn't mean we shouldn't ask questions. Look at King David, he asked many questions to God. Yes a child like faith is needed, but once a believer, we should try to learn. All I wanted to hear is the different thoughts about this. I have made up my mind and heart to just accept the fact that God's ways are so beyond mine that even though I try to learn more about him, I must have child-like faith when I don't understand.

God didn't create JUST the people who would one day accept Him. If He did, what would be the point of it all since EVERYONE would be saved? He did give everyone free will to decide for themselves whether or not to accept Him. Knowing in advance what they would do doesn't mean that He created them to be sent to Hell or that they couldn't be saved -- it just means that He knew in advance what they would do.
Remember, He doesn't want ANYONE to perish. The fact that many do hurts Him, because He loves them and they reject His offer to them.

Right, don't even begin to try to fathom God or his powers, one day I imagined what eternity is like and then I just got confused, God is God, we don't need to know all the answers, just speak with him everyday, follow his ways ,and be a good person.

Thanks DaveH, now that makes sence. Not that I now understand God, but that is a good way of looking at it.
