Default Romans 16...comments please

Romans 16
3Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:
4Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
5Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

I'm not so sure the church should have abandoned this practice of meeting in personal homes. I understand the reasoning behind corporate worship, but his verse makes it ......more personal, shall we say? I see where keeping on the right spiritual path could be mis-directed..either knowingly or un-knowingly, at this level...maybe THAT'S where the Pastors' job was meant to be.... NOT in one building, but attending the many home worship centers insuring that Jesus' guidelines are truely followed... where theGospel is learned..... not such a huge task, if enough leaders were available.

I'm a believer of this verse,

Matt.18:20
[20] For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

In my opinion the emphasis here is to show that the church is those who have come together, and there is nothing special or sacred about the meeting place. Having a centralized meeting place that is comfortable and large enough for a crowd means the preacher can speak to a larger audience, and reach more people.
