Let's try this for a change.Let's give Book, chapter, and verse for some of the things we believe. After you answer, then you ask for Book, Chapter, and Verse for another belief.
Let's use things we all agree on, so that it may help some who may be reading and looking fora relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
1. Give Book, Chapter, and Verseconfirming that the Bible isinspired by God.
"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." KJV
Hebrews 13:2
"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." KJV
Hebrews 13:5
"Let your conversations be without covetousness: and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave the nor forsake thee." KJV --That one gets a lot of us!
James 1:22
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." KJV
How's that for starters? Whose next?

I was thinking 2 Timothy 3:16-17:
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
That's Book, Chapter, and Verse for the inspiration of the Bible.
2. How about Book, Chapter, and Verse for taking the Lord's Supper?
How about Book, Chapter, and Verse for taking the Lord's Supper?
And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake [it], and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave [it] to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
Mark 14:22-24
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:35

things are more like right now than they've ever been
It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome.
William James
And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake [it], and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave [it] to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
And as oft as ye do this do this in remebrance of me. Keith, I do not think this is literaly the blood and body of Christ but I do think this is one great doctrine. We practice this alot at home because most churches only do this quarterly. Some churches feel this can be over used LOL I think they are sadly mistakes. How can a remembrance of Christ death be an over use. We are only saved through the precious blood of the lamb. All of our other works are like fifthy rags
Mark 14:22-24
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. We feast on Jesus .Jesus said his Spirit in us would be a living well where we would thirst no more for the wonderment of life. Jesus is the life.He is all of life's answers. He satisfies all our needs mentally, physical and spiritual. He's all we need.
"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." KJV The head yes..the boss no... we are no lead in example.
Hebrews 13:2
"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." KJV Just like it says..There are angels amongst us.
Hebrews 13:5
"Let your conversations be without covetousness: and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave the nor forsake thee." KJV --
Amen!! Stop complaining...and rejoice in the fact that everything you need will be supplied and Christ is more than sufficient. James 1:22
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." KJV
OUCH!! We need to be full of God's Word to obey this verse as well as putting feet to our faith.
