Default Bible Says

10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:10-17 KJV
back in verse 8, John says i have seen and heard everything i have written in this book..and if you will notice he again worships the angel that showed him these things. then the angel told him not to worship him as he was a fellow servant of God..and that is what a pastor is, the under shepherd of God called to bring us the good news, the gospel..but the sad part is that many worship the man instead of God..let's not be critical of the man chosen by God to lead his flock..let's not be critical of the Baptist because we believe the bible is god's Word..let's not be critical of the Pentecostal because they don't believe in eternal security.and then there are others who think only their bunch is going to heaven..well let me tell you my friend if you have trusted in Jesus the Christ as your LORD and Saviour you will be in heaven, i don't care what you call yourself, baptist, methodist or what ever..Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and noone goes to where the Father is except by him..don't tell me just because i call myself a baptist that i am not going to heaven..
here in our text todayJohn is coming to the end of his writing of all that has bee revealed to him. It is amazing at what God has given him an John has sought to faithfully record for us, what God has in store for mankind through to the end of ages. and there was a lot more that John saw that he didn't write about..We have read of the depravity of mankind and that up to the very end, man will seek to justify his right to do what he wants and that there should not be any correction for these selfish actions. the bible says,"There is a way that seems right unto man , but the way thereof is death." As I have read, these words have spoken to me of how lost I was and it is ONLY by God"™s hand that I am not consumed and lost forever apart from the love of God. in verse 16 Jesus says,' I have sent you my angel to testify unto you these things in the CHURCHES, meaning all the churches.. and in verse 17 He gives invitations to the lost. hte Holy Spirit and the bride says Come to Christ, and let him thatis thirsty come and take of the water of life freely..have you drank from the well that holds the water of life? if not go to the well now and as He did for the women at the well, He'll be waiting there for you.. oh my friend once you drink of it you will never thirst again I am so glad of that song each of us has sung and if you have children, have sung it over and over:"Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so...", I do pray the each of our walks would be on the path He has for us and our families and may His Spirit direct you ad guide you in the days ahead.
Have a great week-end and tell someone about Jesus..

Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong;
They are weak, but He is strong.
Refrain
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.
Jesus loves me! This I know,
As He loved so long ago,
Taking children on His knee,
Saying, "Let them come to Me."

Refrain
Jesus loves me still today,
Walking with me on my way,
Wanting as a friend to give
Light and love to all who live.
Refrain
Jesus loves me! He who died
Heaven"™s gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.
Refrain
Jesus loves me! He will stay
Close beside me all the way;
Thou hast bled and died for me,
I will henceforth live for Thee.
Refrain

This stanza from the original is commonly omitted in hymnals:
Jesus loves me! Loves me still,
Though I"™m very weak and ill,
That I might from sin be free
Bled and died upon the tree.

I agree Bro Motor, we should love God with all our hearts and believe in what the Bible says and pray for the Holy Spirit to illuminate the Word to us and then to the best of the understanding that we have been given, act on it.
I'll step out and say that I believe in oneness, I believe in baptism in Jesus name, and I believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues . . . .but I don't believe that any of these things will save me. The saving grace in my life is in the blood. If I'm under the blood and love the Lord with all my heart then all else should fall in place because I will to my best be obediant and yeild to the object of my desire according to the understanding I allow that sweet Holy Spirit to give me. I would never say that one of another understanding or a lack thereof is going to hell, I can only work out my own salvation. But we can all love the Lord together.

Great post Bro Wayne. Reminds me of the Southern Baptist Pastors conference in the early 80's when Dr. W.A. Criswell was the keynote speaker. He told the story of a young man that asked him. "Dr. Criswell with all your infinite wisdom and many years as a Bible teacher and pastor what is the greatest thing you've learned." Dr. Criswell answered.. Jesus love this I know, for the Bible tells me so.. What an excellent come back with the wisdom of God's simplicity.
Thanks for the post.
