The bible says it will send us a mate when the time is right. Now does that mean I can set back and just do my own thing. This day in age guys are suppose to make the first move. If I set back and do my own thing I dont see how on earth I will meet my mate. Say I see a cute girl at work. Am I just suppose to sit there and not do anything. I a bit confused on this whole thing. I am talking with this girl right now. I had to make the first move. Now how we meet was I thought she was cute and just started talking with her.

Yeah , If I were single I would just walk up to any gal I was interested in and just say my howdydo. I may would hold off on asking her to marry during this first conversation but theres nothing wrong with talking to a girl.

Dang, good question. I have often times wondered this myself. I turn 20 in November, and I've had 1 girlfriend my whole life. I hang out with girls quite a bit, and do the whole flirtin thing or whatever, but I never have any desire to have a girlfriend. I split my time between three different towns throughout the course of a year, and the whole long distance relationship thing isn't my cup 'o tea. I worry that since I don't really have the desire to get a girlfriend right now, how am I going to find I wife once I want to get married? I'm not too worried right now since I have no desire to even think about marriage until I'm in my late 20's, but it makes me wonder.

Don't rush it and don't go looking. However, you will not find the one that God meant for you in a bar or strip joint. You should invlove yourselfwith some church activities and friends. I was on a slippery slope (women & booze) when I hooked up with my wife (through christian friends). God sent her to me to help me get out of that lifestyle and I thank god for her everyday. Have faith, be patient and God will answer your prayers.
