What is so ironic about that ? The Bible talks about killing deer and eatting venison. It talks about eatting what you take in the field. It talks about Christ teaching his disciples how to catch fish and broil them for breakfast. We are hunters that just so happen to be Christian. I would bet ya that the men here are some of the best ones on here as far as boeying the hunting laws and making sure they have a good shot. I am confident they keep every piece of edible meat and share their dinners with guest. I'm confident that they thank God for the harvest. It's an old tradition my friend that a group of us are keeping a live. Some of us don't even get a shot off all season but spend our time reading our Bibles in our stands or just admiring the beauty our creator has set before us. Our ears are in tune to Him .He has given us an appreciation for the outdoors.
I'm sorry if that offends you.

Arise, kill, eat. A command to Peter...given in the New Testament I might add...

Gen.9:2-3
[2] And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
[3] Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

It sometimes suprises me how little many people know of Christianity.
