Default When kindnesses may not be enough.

This is a big change for me as you all know I strongly believe that love is the fulfillihng of the law and has many benefits. When I speak of love in dealing with folks I see this..
Over looking most stuff , displaying patience, making your face like flint and advoiding controversy as much as possible { Unless someone is being harrmed} be ready to give to any need. Hoping for an opportunity to share the things of God.

While all of this brings favor with God and man with peace of mind,Dave Wilkerson reminded me that you won't be hated. The world loves those who are passive. Yes ,God wants us to be gentle. However; we are not to be ashamed of His word and be ready to share Christ at all times. The is what saves folks...not our love. Through our love they will know we are His disciples yes...but the hope, faith and salvation comes from hearing God's Word. I need to live in such a way that I am ready to share God's Word. Yes, then there will be controvercy I'm sure but that is what we are all called to do. As Motor said,"Tell someone about Jesus." Real love is sharing the gospel with others.

PS Don't read me wrong. I do not like controversy and I also don't enjoy people hating me but I do know personally I do not share Jesus enough. Rebel mentioned last year that he leaves tracts at places. I believe this is a good thing to do...or also maybe just simply give it to a person. 99% of them know what you are doing and many times a conversation of Christ will emerge. I was taught to never preach something that your not living yourself so I'll back off now on the witnessing part and let you all know in a few weeks how it's going . I plan to get started immediately. This sudden convicton to share Christ has come from listening to Wilkerson. "We do have a mission down here."

Brother, posting the verse of the day and passing out tracts is for Him, as Heasked us to do.

John14:21
[21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

2Tim.2:2
[2] And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

2Tim.2:15
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

And many more!
