well, as we all know, today marks the 5th year since the tradgedy at 9-11. In the morning at my school, they said the pledge, and they mentioned that it was 9-11 and all that, and I thought that was going to be it. To my suprise, we were dismissed 15 minutes early and were told to go to the Flag pole, where we all were told to remove our hats and whatnot, and a student sang the Star Spangled Banner beautifully. But what happened next really took me by suprise. Our principle, Mrs.Bell, said a few words, and then handed the microphone to a math teacher, whom I never really got to know too well, and he asked us all to bow our heads, and he then told us...that we were going to pray... and this put a big smile on my face, and made me feel very good inside, and the prayer was amazing, and thinking back to the footage of the planes hitting the towers, I teared up a little. I was amazed that he did this, and afterwards, I walked up to him, looked him in the eye, gave him a handshake, and said "thank you...that meant alot to me"....I'm glad that God is not completely lost in my school...

I just got an e-mail today that we are to rearrange our plans to teach the Declaration of Independence on the last week of September to honor a new holiday Celebration Freedom. The student's are to memorize the preample to the Declaration od Independence. We also had a momnent of silence as well. I just started taking my Bible to the cafeteria today as I was prompted by the Holy Spirit. You'd be surprized of all the Bible conversations that start up. I try to feed my soul as well as my stomach. Teh Lord awakened me last night and really got my atttention on the importance of reading the Word. Just check out Psalm 119.
