Hi guys!

Haven't been on the scene much around here. Have had a discouraging outlook in the hunting department recently ... maybe just a little rabbit hunting this winter... and I've not been spending much time on the internet.

Weight lifting/physical fitness has sort of taken over as my main hobby, and when I get online, I'm usually in a couple of fitness message boards.

I have taken my son fishing a bit this summer, and the family has done a lot of camping too.

The DW and I still teach Sunday School, and we did Vacation Bible School this summer too. We've also been doing a nightly devotional together, which has been a real blessing on us as a couple.

I've lost my taste for the "debate" aspect that I used to get all juiced about. I've come to know that there are more important things about my relationship with God that need to be right before I go on discussing and debating finer points of doctrine, etc.

Not that I don't love you all!!!! Just some much needed growth in my own spirit.

I'll see if I can't pop in a little more often, though.
God Bless you all!
Jim

How's school doing. Ours has gotten crazy. Fact is..if I get caght on here I'm dead meat. This is my break but our state is under the gun as we are trying to lead our nation in excellence in teaching .
Gotta go.

School is going well. I have three preps this year, instead of two, so there's a little extra work this year.

The (new) administration has been rattling their swords a bit, and some folks have been forced into early retirement. Frankly, some ineffective teachers have been eliminated, but at the same time, it was carried out in some pretty unethical ways. Not the way I want to be treated... so we (teachers)are minding our Ps and Qs right now.

WOW Sounds just like our school.I'm like you as far as doing fine and have found favor with the big shots, but some of our teachers are being raked acrosss the coals. I'm sort of glad it's going on from state to state. I thought it was just Florida. Liz also mentioned Mississippi is getting some pressure as well. I just got back from tutoring. I'm teaching after school as well/I told him I would do this in exchange for 5 school days off to hunt in Missouri with Strut. He agreed.
Good hearing from ya brother,
C7
