I am not Alex or Rebel Hog, but I may be able to provide an answer they will agree with:

I pray to the same God that Abraham prayed to.

Do you pray to a different god????

Thanks
mr-pirk

Just incase you missed the point Alex was making. In whose name were the Apostles to ask things of God? "Anything you ask in My Name I will Do....." Jesus.

Cataway, one last point, according to your beliefs:

At what point, scripturally, did the hand-off between the need to pray to the Father and being able to just pray to the Son occur?

Thanks
mr-pirk

When I say You ,I mean everyone , including myself has to pray to Eloy Abba , through the only mediator "Jesus".
Enlighten me Cat for every time I have asked a jehova witness to pray with me, they run like they seen the devil, since when do they pray in the name of Jesus ? Is this new ?

You're wrong Cat! Jehovah said " I Is, Who I Is".

so you do recanise that you do have to direct your prayers to the father. so instead of calling Jesus god you now call him the mediator, the go betweenfor god and man .so is jesus the mediator or is he god?
