For the child of God, we have to have a view upon eternity otherwise we will not have the proper perspective that is needed. God will be with us, but we must understand that for those called by God it is not an easy life. The Scriptures tells us that those who desire to live a godly life will be persecuted for His Name. All too often we think of peace from the wrong outlook.Many years agoa reading from Daily Breadspokeon peace. People were suppose to draw or paint what they considered peace. There were many pictures of mountain meadows, deep valleys and other "˜peaceful"™ respites, but the one which took all the attention had a whole other perspective on peace. A raging storm and two doves sitting in the cleft of a rock. The winds were howling, but for the doves, they had peace. i ask you today, do you have that peace deep down in your soul that is there when the storm clouds gather as well as when the sun is shining?For you and I it must be this area we pursue, since it is how we truly respond to pressure and all that is going on around us that we are letting others know how much we trust our Lord and Savior. Believe me that others are watching and for you and I we must make sure we are in close communion with our Lord. My dear friends we have a wonderful Saviour and we should be rejoicing daily for the wonderful free gift of his salvation..
We have an awesome Father in heaven, the creator of all there is..I sit out in our swing everyday and marvel at what he has done..i watch the birds come to the feeder and the squirrels chase each other up and down the trees and yes, occasionally a snake will slither across the yard after a lizard..i watch the navel orange tree in the spring put on its blossoms and then the tiny fruit, so many that you think the limbs will break and then God sends the wind and about half fall off and the rest grow and ripen into the sweetest fruit andfull of juice..
Do you love him today? yes Brethren, God has a plan and we are included in it one way or another..i hope and pray you will choose him to follow..i promise you it is the right choice..

Snooky, my take is that the froward man is underhanded and devious..if you will notice the word is used several times in Proverbs and usually it shows an unethical man that has many flaws, especially social ones.. a good neighbor is onewho is willing to help the needy and never does any harm to anyone or takes advantage of anyonr for gain.. then the froward man is one who will cheat his neighbor or anyone he deals with and he is an abomination to God..in other words he is a crook..
