In the book of Ezekial God refers to Ezekial as the "Son of man". I was under the impression that this was a title referring to Jesus. Am I wrong or just misunderstanding something?
This is John Wesley's explanation. .. Son of man "” A phrase which is ninety-five times, at least, used in this prophecy to keep him humble who had such great revelations.
Ezekiel is called the son of man 93 times in this book..he was a great prophet with a big job to do. that is to take the very words of God to a rebellious Nation..he was stong in the LORD but humanly weak. the Spirit entered into him 2:2 and then he was prepared to take God's Words to the Israelites..
