I came back from a nice quite weekend in the woods scouting, and came back in here for some fellowship.
But I must say I probably found more love in Archery/political and taxidermy sites, than from some of you in here.
Some of you guys like remington1100 are so far lost that you have no idea what christian means, then others who are antisemite/antigod change your name into a new membership just so you can take shots at me.
wellI just about had it with the hypocracy and the so call "Christianity of some of you.
I will boldy say to you, that you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
You cannot walk with one foot on Christ and one foot on the Devil, you cannot listen to satanic music and say this is worshipping God.
you are worshipping the god of this world who has taken over your minds, by making you think you can reach the youth that listens to that dung by bringing Christ to that level.
You are lost in your lust and the imaginations of your minds.
One doesn't need to preach a prostituted gospel to reach the lost, the Word calls for a change once a person knows God, the word calls for holiness to abstain from being like the lost of this world.
Others think because you belong to the Southern baptist Church or some other denomination, you are saved, well I'll tell you, when I died in the operating table over 20 years ago, and I found myself before the Lord,I wasn't asked what denomination I belong to,I wasn't asked if I was A Jew or a Christian, all God did was to scanned my mind for all the wrong I done and everything I have ever said.
And Understood immidiatley my salvation depended on the one standing by me in a Red gown with scars in his hands, not in what church I went to.
God saw all I've done, but what he looked in most deeply was what I had done afterI had the knowledge of Christ, that seemed to concerned Him more than what I had done when I didn't believe in the messiah.
I also had dabbled in what today you call "christian rock", probably way before it had a name, I was young and play bass guitar and made a group to play for the youth, whatI thought were messages of God.
But I found the kids were not listening to lyrics, they were listening to the beat, girls shaking their hips and boys just gazing at the sexual expressions of these women.
I found no difference than when I played bass guitar with Wayne Chocran and the CC riders,I was a substiture bass player, so that when the main bass player was too high on drugs ,I would play in the concerts.
I quit that because I was a christian young man, but I was convicted this life style was of satan, Sex Booz and drugs around me, turned my stomach.
If yo want to live in that kind of dung and call yourself a christian, that is your privilidge, butI judge you as not a Christian, andI judge you by the word of God.
Frankly I just about had it with US christianity and the hypocracy of the so called christians.
you will not see me in here again, but to my friends and those who I consider my brothers ,I thank you for your love and patience and care.

Alex, I hate to see you go. I enjoyed your input from a Jewish standpoint. I hadn't heard about your "salvation" experience but it's very interesting.
We do disagree over "Christian rock". I don't agree with you that all of it is worldy, or that by listening to a certain type of music I myself am "worldy."
Jesus is my leader and I try my best to live for him. I've listened to much Christian rock and truly believe that some of them are led by the Spirit to reach lost souls. Not all of them...but there are imitations as to what God does in any form of ministry whether it be preaching, TV evangelists, music, etc.
Hate to see you go. Stop back by here sometime if you're feeling froggy. Maybe we'll bump into each other in the bow rooms.

Do you believe that a Christian is a "disciple" of Christ? What does disciple mean? Do you agree that the Christian needs approval from God for any specific thing in his life? I do, Col. 3:16-17. I believe we should go to the Bible for our authority in EVERY subject. Is there anything wrong with that "Christian Rock" compare it to the Scriptures, the New Testament. What kind of music did the first Christians use? That's how I would come to my conclusion.

Alex, I know you've taken a lot of flack on here lately but that just seems to be the nature of religious discussions among differing sects. Add that to the fact that many come here to destroy, confuse, ridicule, and vent, we have to realize that at some point we will all come under attack because of the name of Christ. Folk may use our understanding to attack us, our denomination, or even our nationality, . . . .whatever gets under our skin . . . . . but its actually the name of who we serve that they have against us. Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Sometimes we may get offended, disgusted, or discouraged, but if we're really doing a sevice . . .as you are. . .(your Jewish perspective often illuminates the word for us), we can't quit just because we get beat up.
So get over it, take a break maybe, then come on back. Your a major asset here.
